Ioannis Fasolis

Ioannis is a founding and senior partner of Dalakos Fasolis Law Firm, practicing law since 1984. He is qualified to practice before the Supreme Court. He specialises in shipping, yachts, corporate, commercial, banking and finance.

Ioannis’ practice involves a broad range of shipping, corporate and finance work for major shipowners advising on all commercial shipping transactions and corporate matters, as well as finance work for National Bank of Greece, having acted in the past for eleven years as the head of the bank’s Shipping Legal Department. He has a depth of expertise in the sector and is renowned for his work in ship sale and purchase, charter arrangements, contracts of affreightment, structuring and restructuring of shipping loan transactions, mortgage-backed ship financing and collateral securities, the cruise and ferries industry, the yacht market and in other general corporate matters, involving shipowning groups and corporate structures, including the structuring of domestic and international offshore shipping companies and the establishment of their offices in Greece.
